Slough Youth Offending Team (YOT) can support you while you are at school and help you with things you are struggling with. This could include:
- Attendance
- Behaviour
- School work
- Bullying
- Exclusions
- Meetings with your school
We want to help you achieve your best.
Training
What is available?
The YOT works with many of the training providers in Slough and can help you to find the right course for you. We can support you through the application process and speak to professionals on your behalf. We work with local colleges, clubs, youth workers, apprenticeship providers and more.
Employment
Our aims
We know how difficult finding the right job can be. We have careers programmes to help you identify what will be a good match for you. We aim to help improve your skills to increase your chances of getting a job and will help you through the steps to achieving it. This includes:
- Career advice and guidance
- Job search
- CV writing
- Interview skills
- Application forms
- Disclosure (how to talk about your offence)
- Money management
- Benefit support
Talk to us if you are:
- Unmotivated
- Bored
- Broke
- Easily distracted
- Confused
- Not confident
- Or just want to look at your choices.
